Effective February 1, 2002 marginal notations will no longer be made on mortgages upon the recording of a Satisfaction Piece.

The recorded Satisfaction Piece in our index contains the book and page number of the mortgage that has been satisfied.

Furthermore, since the imaged document can be retrieved directly from the index you can review the recorded Satisfaction Piece and the information it contains to address any concerns you may have regarding the document.

Effective immediately the office of the Recorder of Deeds will not accept for recordation any maps exceeding an overall size of 24” x 36”.

Sub-division plans must be accepted and signed by the proper municipality and recorded within ninety (90) days of signature. A copy must accompany the original map.
